Info Post
Seriously, you'd think conservatives had a brain tumor for breakfast. For the last year.  Today, there is a big kerfuffle (from people like Ben Domenech, Philip Klein and Erick Erickson)  over the fact that Mitt Romney chose former Utah Governor and HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt to head his transition team, if elected.  Leavitt's big crime is that his consulting group is making a ton of money by getting states to set up Obamacare's exchanges.  Seriously, what is so shocking here?  Romney developed Romneycare, the model for Obamacare.  How can it be shocking that he is choosing a like-minded Mormon Governor who also likes Obamacare to a key position in his transition team (and possibly to be White House Chief of Staff after the transition is complete)?  If those conservatives didn't want a Massachusetts Moderate who is soft on Obamacare, they should have supported one of the other candidates, every single one of whom was more conservative.  I guarantee that Newt would not have picked Mike Leavitt for this position or any position for that matter.  It's their own damn fault for being such pansy-asses during the nomination process (Erick Erickson didn't even endorse anyone, instead snarkily endorsing the "sweet meteor of death" back when the race was still very competitive and he could have made a difference).

By the way, I had a couple of positive posts on Friday about how I liked a couple of the videos that the Romney team has produced (here and here).  Every other time I started warming to Romney, he would do something to make me shake my head.  And like clockwork, it's happened again.  It's rather uncanny.
